How to Care for Your Crochet
Start with the care instructions on your product page or supplied with your piece. Yarn fibres, fillings, adhesives, supports and decorative details can require different care. If the materials are not listed, ask us before washing.
Gentle care, one piece at a time
Where the item’s care instructions allow washing, gently handwash in cool water with a mild detergent. Avoid scrubbing, twisting, wringing, bleach and harsh chemicals. Press out excess water with a clean towel, reshape gently and dry flat away from direct heat. Avoid tumble drying or ironing unless the item’s instructions explicitly allow it.
Bouquets & decorative pieces
Dust gently with a soft, dry brush. Keep away from moisture and strong sunlight. Do not immerse items with stems, wire, glue, ribbons or other delicate details. Ask us about safe spot cleaning for your specific piece.
Plushies
Check the instructions for the yarn, filling and attached details. Spot clean gently where suitable and allow the filling to dry completely. Do not soak an item with unknown filling or glued details.
Garments, blankets & baby pieces
Follow the fibre-specific instructions supplied with the item. Wash colours separately where advised and reshape while damp. Store clean, fully dry pieces flat without pulling the stitches.
Baby items & supervised use
Decorative nursery pieces are decorations, not toys or sleep products. Keep loose decorations and cords out of reach. Check the stated purpose, age guidance and care instructions for each item; inspect attached details and stop using an item if it becomes damaged. Ask us if its intended use is unclear.
Storage & delicate details
Keep crochet pieces dry and away from excessive heat. Avoid hanging heavy pieces by their stitches. Protect small details from snagging and store pieces without crushing their shape.
